FAQ's for AUTHORISED VENUES
 

What is meant by “Authorised Venues”?
  • A:  We have special arrangements with all the major popular Pubs and Clubs. They authorise us to call on them, as we comply with their rules and arrangements. We recommend them if they meet our standards. Also we make special arrangements with many to act as our pick-up points for clients, to meet there before we leave rather than picking you up at a home. That way you do not disturb the neighbourhood upon your departure or return. Also your house stays clean and the lawns free from tyre impressions. It is a great way to set the mood for the evening.
     
Can I choose my own Venues?
  • A: YES! With consultation of our staff. We will assist you and do everything to arrange  your own pubs and clubs in mind. When you initially book your tour we make suggestions and work in with you. However we do not just call on venues unannounced, as that can cause problems. Many times we have observed competitors being turned away, upsetting every one and their evening. After many years of experience we have developed the best system.
     
Can I add my own venues to the agreed Schedule?
  • A: Yes. However we prefer to arrange this in advance. Most Pubs and Clubs insist we make arrangements days in advance, other wise they will not guarantee VIP entry or discounts and incentives!
Can we change the Venues during the Tour?
  • A: Yes. We do not encourage it and will only work through the on-board person that has signed the Term & Conditions. The driver might have to check with Show World’s ® head office first as it may upset the Schedule and disqualify your group on a number of points with venues.
     
How long can we stay at each Venue?
  • A: This is worked out in advance by Show World’s ® Team. The person taking responsibility for the tour is also told and consulted. We however need to stay within the arrangements made with venues. About one hour is the norm. This at times can be extended or shortened.
What if my Venue is not listed?
  • A: No problem. We here at Show World ® are about pleasing our customers. We will approach the Venues in question and make the arrangements and negotiate hard on your behalf. If you have already spoken to them we would like your assistance by providing the outcome and contact details.
     
Can we have a private room?
  • A: Yes. We make this suggestion especially for our Bucks Parties and Hens Nights Clients who have organised artists’ performances for the evening. (Strippers, Topless Waiters etc) We have a number of venues that make function  rooms available, normally at no charge to Show World ® Clients . This also applies if the parties wish privacy away from the general public in attendance at the venue. You need to express your wishes during booking the Show World ® Party Bus Tours.
     

FAQ's for BOOKINGS
 

How do I guarantee my booking date?
  • A:  Simple and easy! Once you have agreed with the Booking and Tour details we post you out the “General Information, Terms & Condition” form with a cover Letter. They needs to be signed by the person accepting responsibility for the Tour with a Booking and Security Deposit. You will be given a date that the deposit will have to be in by and you may cancel the date by given no less than 14 working days notice. If you are unsure at anytime, we are only a phone call away!
     
 What if I am not 18 years old or over?
  • A:  No Problem! You will not be able to book a Show World Party Bus Pub and Club Crawl, as you will need to be over 18 to be allowed onto licensed premises and you will only get in with photo IDs, however we do have the Show World All Age Fun Bus available for you.
     
What if I need to cancel the Tour?
  • A: Simple. You must give 14 working days notice or you might lose your deposit.  We may be able to change the date for you or you may want to use the deposit for another Show World Party Bus Tour, as we have the largest range in WA. We realise here at Show World ® you might have valid reasons for the change or cancellation.
     

FAQ's for DISCOUNTS & INCENTIVES
 

What discounts do we get?
  • A:  Discounts for Drinks and Food vary from venue to venue. We negotiate hard on your behalf and a lot depends on what time we get to the venue, the size of your party, how long we stay at a venue etc. We will be able to advise you of the discounts, once all venues have been agreed to and during our discussion, when you make the booking. Warning: We obtain genuine discounts not the con of "Your first drink free" and all others at full price but "Happy Hour" and "Industry Prices" during your total visit.
     
What are the Incentives?
  • A:  Some venues provide Show World ® Party Buses with incentives. They depend on the amount of time we stay at the venues, the time we arrive and the size of the group and on what night of the week etc. They vary from venue to venues. To get a better idea ask during your booking. Many Incentives are exclusive the Show World ® Party Bus Tours.
     
FAQ's for GENERAL QUESTIONS
 
How can I guarantee my booking date?
  • A:  Simple and easy! Once you have agreered with the Booking and Tour details we post you out the “General Information, Terms & Condition” form with a cover Letter. Can you pick us up earlier?
  • A: Yes. We are here to please you and make sure your Tour with us is a memorable experience. Normally there is no extra charge. All venues would have been booked with an ETA estimated time of arrival which must be kept in mind. However your group might want to garb a bite to eat before hand, and we will be happy to accommodate!

     
Can we extend our time?
  • A: Yes. However you will find that after midnight our qualified Drivers are on higher rates. If it goes after 1 am a minimum charge of $50 per hour or part thereof is charged in advance, keeping in mind we are already paying the driver past midnight at no cost to you!

     
Can we drink alcohol on board?
  • A: We have a policy in place on this matter and it is best to discuss it when making the inquiry or booking
     
Can we bring our own alcohol?
  • A: We understand you wish to have a good time, please lets discuss it when making the enquiry or booking
What are nominated Pick-up points?
  • A: Where you have asked us to pick up your group or our agreed nominated starting point. We discuss this with you during your booking with us and make some suggestions and give you valid reason.
     
What is a Nominated Tour?
  • A: An organised Schedule we have agreed on. After that we negotiate with all venues in question. We point out to you the various factors that have to be considered. BUT we will do it all for you with your requests in mind!

     
Why do you recommend Photo Id’s?
  • A: For venues to protect their licenses, they strictly enforce regulations they are bound by the Licensing Authorities. Passengers can legally be refused entry. Better safe than sorry. All Show World ® Passengers must be over 18 years of age, that wish to enter licensed premises.

     
Why Dress to impress?
  • A: All venues we call on have dress standards. We will advise during your booking and make sure you also enquire of the standards. Clean smart casual, collared shirts. No jeans!
     
Will you pick up from our Club?
  • A: YES. If arrangements have been made during the booking it will be discussed, including access to your club (Sports Club, Social Club, Offices) etc. The arrangement and agreed pick up time will be listed in the General Information Terms and Condition form, including the arranged pick up time.
     
Will you pick up from Home?
  • A: YES. We do however suggest you choose an authorised pick up point, that way we do not disturb the neighbourhoods. No mess to clean up and the celebrations can start early while people way for all to get together or have meals in advance.
     
Can we pick up people on the way?
  • A: YES. It is important this is requested during the booking as additional charges may apply. In order to assist our clients you must notify of any change no later than 2 days prior to departure.
     
VIP Entry and Queue Jumping?
  • A: All venues have limited licensed numbers of persons that can be on the premises at any one time. Therefore we make arrangements in advance and provide the venues with estimated numbers and ETA prior to departure. This is done days in advance. This is all part of the Show World service.
     
How will we get our discounts?
  • A: Different venues provide different type of incentives and discounts. You will be advised before entering the venue what the arrangements are. Some will stamp your wrist or others provide wrist bands which entitle you and your group to the discounts. You must indicated this before ordering your items.
     
Can we pay drinks in advance?
  • A: YES. Most places allow you to organise Bar Cards with $ limits. You will need to contact the venues direct to make this arrangement. If you need the contacts we will be happy to supply them for you, once your deposit for your booking has arrived at our office.
     
Why a Security Deposit?
  • A: Simple. As stated in the “General Information, Terms & Conditions form” any damage done by passengers in your group will be charged. If you or your guests cause damage, Show World ® will take action to recover all costs!

     
Why a Booking Deposit?
  • A: Simple. The moment the booking deposit is received your tour date is locked in. The quicker we receive the deposit the more peace of mind for you. Due to the popularity and demand for the Show World ® Party Bus Tours, 14 days notice is required for any cancellations.
     
When do I get my security deposit back?
  • A: At the end of the Tour and after all passengers have left the Buses, the Bus is inspected with the person responsibly of the party and if no damage is sighted and the bus left in a clean condition, you will be refunded your security deposit or it may be mailed back to you from Show World’s ® Head Office. It is outlined in the “General Information, Terms & Condition Form”

Are there Rules and Regulations?
  • A: Yes. If you are in charge, you would have signed the GENERAL INFORMATION, TERMS & CONDITIONS form that contains all the Details, rules and conditions. You would also have paid the security deposit and been told about the possible cleaning bill. The driver will work with you throughout the Tour and he will request your support. As the hirer of the Bus/Tour, you are responsible for your guest’s actions. All Drivers/Captains are within their legal rights to evict any or all persons at any time if they are causing a disturbance, or deemed to be acting in a manner that could cause the vehicle to have an accident.
     
Emergency Contact for Party Buses
  • A: Yes. Available in a limited form. All drivers have mobile phones. They should only be contacted in an emergency.

Examples of emergencies: Common sense prevails here. You must consider drivers are not encouraged to answer mobiles while being mobile, as they only have headsets that might be hard to hear during driving. All have hands free facilities but may choose not to answer while driving!

  •  If Persons have been left behind at a venue, they can find out the next stop and catch up by taxi.

  •  Enquiries by friends, as to who is on board, are kept private and information not supplied for security reasons! Please respect this.

    All Lost property enquiries are not classed as an emergency and the office can be contacted on 9275 0900 for arrangement to pick up the goods during office hours.

Who is in charge?
  • A: All drivers are like Captains of a ship, they are responsible for the safety of all passengers during transportation.. You will know your responsibilities as it has been stated in the “General Information, Term & Conditions”, which you have signed for. He will work through the person who signed the Term & Conditions, relating to the behaviour of passengers. He himself is responsible by law under the police act and transport department regulations. Implementing Show World ® Company policy is also the drivers responsibility. It is within drivers legal rights to evict any or all persons at any time if they are causing a disturbance or nuisance. If deemed too drunk, drivers/captains are not required to carry that person!
     
How many can we have on the Buses?
  • A: Each Bus has different licensed seating limits for adults. Ask us during your enquiry or bookings. We will take out just about any minimum number or any large numbers of Groups!
     
Who supplies the music?
  • A: Show World ® has a large sound library due to it’s Show Productions and the Sound Entertainment Division used by it’s Mobile DJ’s. You will find that we request the average age of the Group and will always carry suitable music plus our standard formats to have you singing and dancing.
     
What type of music?
  • A: The music selections are provided to a strict music and program format. From the latest hits, themed nights, retro etc. We plan it to your group and we suggest you discuss it during your booking.
     
Can we bring our own additional music?
  • A: YES. But if you have recorded the audiocassette, we normally need to get an idea of the songs and material contained. We have a strict Music and Entertainment format and that is why we are so popular. We try and make sure we have you singing and dancing in the isles, for a wicked night out to remember forever!.
     
Can we take pictures on board?
  • A: YES. Ideal for photos to remind you of a great party and for photos for the photo albums on the Show World ® Web site. Please warn the driver prior to taking flash photos, as it can cause a hazard if not prepared.
     

How do we get our photos onto website?

  • A: Simple If they are taken by a digital camera just email them to webmaster@showworld.com.au with full details and an authority to use them on Show Worlds ® Website and hence the world wide web. The sooner we receive them the faster they will appear on our site. If they are normal photos just post them to Webmaster, Show World ®, P.O. Box 123, Tuart Hill WA 6939 with the authority to publish and full details on back of each photo. If you wish the photos to be returned please request.
