Riverbank Estate
The vineyard overlooks the Swan River in the area of Caversham and benefits from the warm climate of this grape growing region. Well matured fruit with distinctive varietal characteristics and flavour is the end result. White and red table wines are produced as well as sparkling and fortified styles.
The 30 acre vineyard is situated on the Swan River flood plain. The soil is a rich clay loam with some patches more sandy, the earthworms are abundant in this rich soil.

Vintage is during February and March and is rarely interrupted by rain. The vineyard is trellised with a vertical shoot positioned canopy and is suitable for night time mechanical harvesting. The Summer months are hot so picking in the cool of the night is an advantage.

The viticultural policy in the vineyard is as near as possible 'organic', free from the use of pesticides, fungicides and other such chemicals. Legumes are planted as a winter cover crop between the vines.

Sandalford Wines
Sandalford wines is Western Australia's largest and oldest family owned winery with some of the most highly prized vineyards in Margaret River, Mount Barker, Frankland River and the Swan Valley.

Sandalford's range of quality wines are ideal to compliment any meal or have on their own. Enjoy rich berry flavours of Cabernet Sauvignon, spicy Shiraz, fruity Verdelho, crisp Riesling, toasted honey of Chardonnay, or try our luscious fortified wine, Sandalera.

Talijancich Wines
Wine Makers since 1932
James Talijancich:
I was given the opportunity in 1977 at the age of 17 to work alongside my father, Peter, on a full-time basis. It was not until the early 1980's that my love for the entire process of Winemaking began. Learning to appreciate the differences between wine and 'truly fine wine'.

In 1932 my family's involvement with Grape-growing and Winemaking began, when my grandfather; the late Jim Talijancich first purchased land situated at the foothills of the Darling Ranges in the heart of the Swan Valley. My Father Peter Talijancich, continued the tradition in the late 1940's; soon realising that the Swan Valley was a special place to live and work. Blessed with rich fertile soil and Mediterranean climate, capable of producing wines of the highest quality, unique in style and character.

Upper Reach Vineyard & Winery
Upper Reach is located in Baskerville, Swan Valley. It takes its name from its magnificent location on the banks of the upper reaches of the Swan River. The label’s Black Bream can be found in the river’s pools during the summer months. Rich river loam soil and a Mediterranean climate produce full fruit flavoured wines.

The Winery was completed in early 1999. It provides a state of the art facility, to produce estate grown wines of the highest quality.

The wines can be enjoyed from their tasting terrace, affording spectacular views over the vineyards and the Swan Valley. The Show World ® Party Bus “Wineries Tour” suggests you bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with their wines. There is a picturesque lawn area overlooking the vineyard.
